"Creative Idea Challenge - CiC 2021" contest gives more essential information relating to English version.

1. Candidates

The English version of CiC 2021 contest offers not only Vietnamese students who speak English fluently and live in Viet Nam or other countries, but also international students all over the world (both Viet Nam).

Students or Students who have graduated no more than 12 months since 19/03/2021 (the date of launching contest); regardless of nationality.

2. Aims

CiC 2021 creates an environment to exchange, connect and develop for potential projects, students are interested in Entrepreneurship by training, team building, mentor connecting, pitching, … Simultaneously, CiC 2021 provides opportunities for students to explore different cultures and markets around the world.

3. Methods

Students living in Vietnam will attend OFFLINE for all CiC programs.

If you are a student living in Viet Nam (excluding Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai province), you can join ONLINE to save money and time. However, there are many compulsory OFFLINE activities such as Bootcamp and Final round (depending on COVID-19 pandemic situation). Others will learn online via the Internet.

All teams (both Vietnamese and English version) will compete in the Final Round.

4. Prizes

a. Students living in Viet Nam choose English version:

- 01 First prize

+ Cash: 50.000.000 VND (approximately 2200 USD)
+ Visiting and studying in Singapore/Korea

- 01 Second prize: 30.000.000 VND (approximately 1320 USD)

- 02 Third prize: 10.000.000 VND (approximately 440 USD)

- 03 Consolation prize: 5.000.000 VND (approximately 220 USD)

- 01 public prize: 5.000.000 VND (approximately 220 USD)

 

 

All prizes will receive:

- 01 support package from Vietnam National University Data Center (VNU.DC);

- 01 incubation package worth 100 million VND (up to 5000 USD) during a year at Information Technology Park (ITP)

- Having opportunities to gain a scholarship worth 5,000 USD.

b. Students NOT living in Viet Nam choose English version:

- A tour trip to explore top-rated tourist attraction in Viet Nam within 01 week;

- Visiting and interacting with incubations, startup ecosystems in Viet Nam;

- Events, seminars, workshops, … to exchange and connect with experts, investors;

- Having chances to gain support package worth 1,500 USD (Mr.Chuong – Cohota)

(The prize excludes air fare to Viet Nam)
