On November 24, 2021, the Workshop “Start-up Innovation” was organized by the Center for Applied Science and Technology of Soc Trang Province. The program is organized to build and raise the basic awareness of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for high school students & students through sharing, exchanging, answering questions from experts and developing businesses from the form of innovative start-ups under the task of “Building a model to support innovative start-ups for high school students & students in Soc Trang province”.

Attending the event, there were sharing from experts and innovative start-ups with the following topics:
• Mr. Le Nhat Quang – Deputy Director of ITP, Director of IEC: Some experiences in building an innovative startup ecosystem;
• Mr. Nguyen Van Minh – Director of the Center for Research and Application of Biotechnology, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, discussed about the innovation journey for students.
• Mr. Thai Chuong – Founder, CEO Cohota – Vietnamese E-learning platform: Sharing about the entrepreneurial journey of businesses.
The last part of the program is a space to discuss and exchange content related to knowledge, thinking and necessary skills; advantages, disadvantages, ideas; the role of lecturers and teachers in inspiring students, students, etc. in activities to launch innovation.
Through the workshop, the delegates, especially the students, partly got an overview of the innovative start-up, the innovation startup ecosystem. Towards gradually forming and spreading the awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation among local students.
