On the morning of May 15, 2022, the final contest “IU Startup Demo Day 2022” season 4 took place at International University, campus 234 Pasteur, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. The competition is organized by the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) from Vietnam National University-HCM (IU).
Innovative Entrepreneurship Center, VNU-HCM (IEC) under ITP is honored to be one of the official companions of the contest right from the first seasons. Mr. Le Nhat Quang (Deputy Director of ITP; Director of IEC) attended and gave a couple of speeches at the beginning of the hour to share about the close relationship between the two sides in the construction and development of the competition.
Besides, the incubators at ITP also participated in becoming mentors for the final round of project teams. Specifically, there was participation from the founder of Casso, Aideem (College Village Handbook), and Phenikaa MaaS.
At the Final, the best TOP8 went through two parts:
Part 1 – Display and introduce demo products.
Part 2 – Presentation of the project in front of the jury.
After many efforts, congratulations on the overall results of the call to the names of the projects as follows:
Winner: 3B (Bicycle between bus): The project to connect bus stations by bicycle service
Runner-up: PIKABOOK – Read books to connect
Third Prize: JAMCOP – The level made from cocoa pods
Other awards:
Audience Choice Award: OK APP _ Psychological counseling application
Award for the most impressive presentation project: SOF _ Application to control the shelf life of food
Award for highly applicable project: 3B (Bicycle Between Bus) _ The project of connecting bus stations by bicycle service
Award for the project with the most meaning and social impact: SOF _ Application to control the shelf life of food.
Once again, congratulations to the competing teams. And according to the guideline from BTC, IU Startup Demo Day will be the premise for developing groups to compete in larger startup playgrounds. And in the near future, the Startup Ideas Contest – CiC 2022 will be the next destination to welcome groups to take a new journey and give wings to groups to integrate deeply into the market.
