The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (IEC) welcomed the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to work at the ITP on the morning of October 5th, 2022. Representatives from SUSS included Mr. Kenneth Yap – Deputy Head, Office of Entrepreneurship, Ms. Toh Xin Yi – Senior Executive, Office of Entrepreneurship, and Ms. Nancy Ha – Operations Manager in Vietnam, who attended the exchange session with IEC.
The two sides discussed coordinating activities to promote exchange, connection, and equipping knowledge and skills for students between the two countries, especially in the field of innovative entrepreneurship. By integrating resources and jointly designing closely related programs, the two sides will spread the spirit of innovation and the elements needed for an entrepreneur to students.
In particular, SUSS will connect its students with startup incubators at the ITP for internships and experience in the entrepreneurial environment. Through participating in the Idea Startup Contest – CiC 2022, students will be encouraged and equipped with necessary skills to develop their own ideas.
This exchange and connection session will open up opportunities for joint support and incubation of student ideas to be implemented in practice. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to connect intellectual resources and exchange entrepreneurial culture between the two countries, bringing practical benefits to students as well as the startup community.
