The program “Funding for investment capital CiC 2021” organized by the Innovative Entrepreneuship Center VNU-HCM (IEC) of ITP at 2pm on 12/12/2021 at Saigon Innovation Hub has ended successfully. The program is for groups of contestants coming out of the Startup Ideas contest – CiC 2021 who want to raise capital to develop their projects.
With a confident and steady demeanor, 7 groups of CiC in turn brought to the program potential projects with impressive fundraising and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to young people across the country. In which, there are 4 groups invested with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND, including:
– CiC068 – Microalgae for aquatic wastewater treatment:
+ 150 million dong for 20% shares and 150 million dong for a 1-year interest-free loan by investor Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of C47 Construction Joint Stock Company; Chairman of the Board of Directors Vu Phong Energy Group invested.
+ 1000 USD from Cheers scholarship fund.
– CiC190 – Warmfoot foot warmer: 1000 USD from Cheers scholarship fund.
– CiC237 – AutoMov wheelchair assist device:
+ 300 million dong for a 20% share, with the target (KPI) of selling 100 products in 6 months, invested by Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of C47 Construction Joint Stock Company; Chairman of the Board of Directors Vu Phong Energy Group invested.
+ 1000 USD from Cheers scholarship fund.
– CiC2020 – EmolyzeTech: 15,000 USD for 5% stake and plus 5% if referring 2 foreign customers not located in Southeast Asia. The deal was invested by investor Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of C47 Construction Joint Stock Company; Chairman of the Board of Directors Vu Phong Energy Group.
• In addition, the group CiC220 – InTerior: Negotiate later with Trainco Group Joint Stock Company with the opportunity for the group to be supported to approach thousands of customers so that the group can perfect the product before participating in the official investment.

The remaining groups, although not able to successfully raise capital, must have had more experience in raising capital and received the sharing, encouragement, candid and sincere suggestions of investors to help improve the project better and better.
After the investment program, the CiC contest and the IEC Center will always be ready to support the start-up projects of the CiC candidates in particular and the innovative start-up projects in general.
